Google Cloud Doc at Unity

In my first project at Unity, I worked with Unity Network and Dev Ops teams, plus our onsite Google Cloud Engineer. I documented Unity's custom transition from Amazon Web Services to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The following screen shot is a subset of the 100+ doc set I created in Atlassian Confluence to support our teams during the transtions. Also please see this doc I created about using Data Studio to track cloud spending.

Network Directory/Security Design at GAP Inc

GAP Inc wanted external architects to be able to submit designs for Gap stores online, yet not get access to sensitive Gap systems. Collaborating with network engineers, I built the first Gap Lotus Notes app that sat in the "DMZ". (The "DMZ" was the zone between the Gap firewall and the outside internet.) Security for this app was highly complex, and involved Notes person records, Notes server records,  Notes groups, Notes roles and Notes ACL's. In addition, I  worked with the existing server topology so that Gap's replication design could be used as part of the security architecture. To do this, specific servers were given rights to the app, while others were locked out.

This is a screen shot from doc I wrote for Notes server administrators to help them understand and support the system that I created.  I  partnered with Gap's network team and Systems Administrators to design something that preserved security, but was easy to understand.  If you would like to see the entire document, please email me.
